Chase Repousse Collection
updated 11/20/23: The purpose of this page is to consolidate all the chase repousse pieces in one place for your convenience. On this page are separate headings for Pendants and Pins, Bracelets, and Earrings. I also have an archive of sold pieces which I am willing to redo in the metal of your choice.
Chase repousse has become my favorite metalworking technique I love the tap, tap, tap of the hammer and how a flat design magically becomes 3-dimensional. My grant project funded by the Indiana Arts Commission ends June 30 but I will continue to explore the possibilities of chase repousse in my future work. If you are interested in a detailed description of the process, go to the page entitled "Chase Repousse Blog."

Pendants and Pins
What is amazing is that each piece starts as a flat sheet of metal and after repeated hammering on both sides, you have a dimensional work of art! In spite of looking heavy, they are incredibly light weight because I use a thin gauge of metal and also cut out part of the backing. That serves two purposes: 1. it keeps the piece from collapsing when I solder it together; and 2. the wearer gets to see the repousse work on the back side. Pieces run from $140.00 to $300.00 depending on metal and complexity of design.
New work appears first followed by pieces in order from lowest to highest priced.

Bracelets
Like pendants and pins, each bracelet starts with a flat sheet of metal. Once I complete the chase repousse work, I slowly bend the metal into shape. This is a long process which involves annealing the metal, bending, annealing again, bending etc. They run from $125.00 to $250.00 depending on metal and complexity of design.

Earrings
My chase repousse earrings have become my way to play around with a design or technique that I might later use on a pendant, pin or bracelet. They are smaller and take less time, so they are the perfect place to experiment. They run from $55.00 - $85.00 depending on the metal and design.
